Two great areas to choose from: Homosassa or Crystal River! Searching along the seagrass beds, you’ll find Florida Bay Scallops! Recent restoration efforts have improved this for everyone to enjoy, and knowing where to go will absolutely help you find the best bag to take home!

These tiny, sweet morsels of white meat are seasonally open for harvesting from July 1st through September 10th! Jumping in the water, looking for hidden treasure in 4-6 feet of water, you’ll have to take a close look for their little lights around their shell and catch them before they “swim” away!

Additional Information

Reservation requires a $100 deposit.

  • The captain has the discretion to decline 4th angler.
  • The captain may postpone trip due to poor weather conditions or other reasons at his discretion.
  • You will be contacted two days prior to the day of the trip to finalize the charter details.
  • A full refund will be issued for all trips canceled with at least four days notice.

  • Refunds will be issued at Captain’s discretion when a trip is canceled with less than four days notice.

FISHING TACKLE

All fishing tackle will be provided for you. Quality gear that you can count on to perform for you under any circumstance. If you have any fishing lures that you’d like to use, please feel free to bring them with you!

TRANSPORTATION

In addition to being able to meet at the boat ramp, I can provide free transportation to/from most Orlando area hotels and resorts to make your day as convenient as possible. Further pick-up/drop-off may require a small fee.

WANT LIVE BAIT?

Wild Shiners are a specialty from time to time, and it’s one way to hook the bass of your dreams! While we do specialize in artificial lures, there’s always room for a live bait on the end of your hook for an add-on cost!
